Powerful synthesis of Shahak's work and its relevance today. The part about how classical Judaism operates as a closed totalitarian system really crystalizes why so many outsiders struggle to understand Israeli policy contradictions. What stuck with me most was Shahak's point that the need for internal Jewish reformation got bypassed when statehood was achieved thru external imperial backing instead. I've always wondered why thiscritique stays so marginalized in mainstream discourse when it comes from insiders like Shahak who lived the history firsthand.

Thank you for keeping Israel Shahak’s wisdom alive and in service to humanity in 2025- a truth teller who was burnished in the hellish Polish Holocaust- a man who stood up for truth as he saw it and his legacy lives in his testaments within his writings.
